On 12 March 2015, at Guarda City Council, the certificate of transfer of the contract for environmental remediation works in the mining areas of Prado Velho, Forte Velho and the former Barracão Radium Factory was signed.

This work has a deadline of eight months and represents an investment of around 2.5 million euros.
